Xiaomi fitness trackers are known for their affordability and performance. This 9th generation tracker continues that proud heritage. It has a 1200-nit display with Always-On functionality, a quality heart rate sensor (which Xiaomi says is 16% more accurate than in version 8), and a new linear vibration motor for better haptics.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 ships in four colours - pink, black, white, and blue and comes with its own proprietary magnetic charging cable. Although not in the same level as a FitBit or Apple watch, the Xiaomi offers some great core of features at an impressively low price.
The core features include sleep tracking, step counting, heart rate monitoring, and calorie counting; turn on certain sports modes and you get a lot more. You can also use the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 as a smartwatch-lite, with notification handling, music control, and weather reports.
As affordable fitness trackers go, this is one of the best on the market right now. It’s a great entry-level option for people who are new to the health monitoring game and want to test out a gadget to do so, without breaking the bank.
